The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Słodkie Cytryny were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after FC MeHigh's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emanuel de Andrade took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Dimos Koutsovassilis heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 13th minute Enrico Colella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordache Albu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dan Braru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Filip Pincoski made a huge save. After 16 played minutes Virgil Crăiță rounded Słodkie Cytryny's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Dimos Koutsovassilis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC MeHigh's Dumitru Suluțiu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Filip Pincoski but with some difficulty. Filip Pincoski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horea Apăvăloaie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iordache Albu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiří Rýpar in the 33rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Słodkie Cytryny's Filip Pincoski got control of the ball when Dan Braru tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horea Apăvăloaie in the 39th minute of play forced Słodkie Cytryny's goalkeeper Filip Pincoski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Braru got free with Filip Pincoski in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When Emanuel de Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Słodkie Cytryny's protests and gave Emanuel de Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Słodkie Cytryny's Emanuel de Andrade got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Nae Manu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filip Pincoski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Iordache Albu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 60 played minutes Słodkie Cytryny got a freekick which was hit by Wladyslaw Lemiesz. Filip Pincoski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Braru in the 66th minute of play. Sebastian Cămărășescu made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Słodkie Cytryny's Dimos Koutsovassilis. The supporters of FC MeHigh booed when Słodkie Cytryny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Colella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filip Pincoski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Doicaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Braru in the 80th minute of play forced Słodkie Cytryny's goalkeeper Filip Pincoski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC MeHigh's Sabin Almăgean was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filip Pincoski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
