Oscar Confesor started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Islas FC booed when North Hill United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnauld Gramet didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, North Hill United's Steffen Van Hermenghem got a free kick in the 10th minute. Eriberto Felipillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to North Hill United getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Benjamin Clement hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Islas FC's goalkeeper Dionisio Abaurre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mil Vandamme. 21 minutes into the game, Islas FC's Oscar Confesor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albertus Schepmans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Dionisio Abaurre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brend Van Linthoudt's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After 31 minutes, Mil Vandamme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the North Hill United and the Islas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 played minutes North Hill United got a freekick which was hit by Mil Vandamme. A hard shot 36 in the game by Mil Vandamme from a close distance when the talented Dionisio Abaurre managed to make a qualified save. Islas FC's players were relieved. Mil Vandamme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the North Hill United defense, Oscar Confesor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albertus Schepmans. The North Hill United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albertus Schepmans should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Islas FC made a substitution. Benedicto Tonete replaced Eriberto Felipillo. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mil Vandamme to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Ubendu during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match was over Islas FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than North Hill United throughout the match.
