North Hill United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc Vermeulen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, MZ Fénix's Wilson Pestana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albertus Schepmans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the North Hill United defense, Wilson Pestana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albertus Schepmans. The North Hill United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albertus Schepmans should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Pestana in the 36th minute of play forced North Hill United's goalkeeper Albertus Schepmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubim Jesus hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The supporters of MZ Fénix booed when North Hill United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boudewijn Bauwens didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Vicente Domingues shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albertus Schepmans showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the game, North Hill United's Mil Vandamme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delfim Vilas Boas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The North Hill United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MZ Fénix were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilson Pestana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 52 in the game by Wilson Pestana from a close distance when the talented Albertus Schepmans managed to make a qualified save. North Hill United's players were relieved. Christian Bollaert's late challenge caught a MZ Fénix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Bollaert helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to North Hill United getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Christian Bollaert hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Wilson Pestana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albertus Schepmans was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 63rd minute Wilson Pestana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertus Schepmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brend Van Linthoudt in the 67th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Delfim Vilas Boas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albertus Schepmans made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Wilson Pestana sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute, Brend Van Linthoudt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Bollaert got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The crowd rose to their feet as Wilson Pestana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Albertus Schepmans. That made the score 1-5 in the 75 minute of play. Wilson Pestana received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Albertus Schepmans came out and tried to block the shot, but Wilson Pestana slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 79th minute. 88 minutes into the match, North Hill United's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Pestana came free, but Albertus Schepmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, North Hill United's Albertus Schepmans got control of the ball when Wilson Pestana tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, MZ Fénix's Wilson Pestana ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Albertus Schepmans. Albertus Schepmans yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7.
