Mete Culiță stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giro Horduña's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ximun Zaldos got free with Katia Villalobos in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nacional's Katia Villalobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ximun Zaldos in the 27th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Ximun Zaldos made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Nacional's Katia Villalobos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Katia Villalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ximun Zaldos in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Ximun Zaldos came free, but Katia Villalobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Aioros FC's zone, Ambrosio Gaskon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mete Culiță came out of the goal and Ambrosio Gaskon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 46 played minutes Aioros FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Magarinos. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ximun Zaldos made the kick off in the second half. Katia Villalobos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joe Kazinsky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nacional's Katia Villalobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ximun Zaldos in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nacional's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zacarias Gascon was slow to take the kick. During this time Aioros FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Zacarias Gascon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nacional's Katia Villalobos did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chaise Long in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Katia Villalobos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ximun Zaldos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Katia Villalobos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Gonzalo Carneiro took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Mete Culiță to make any attempt to save it. Aioros FC's Feliciano Lorca was substituted for Joe Kazinsky. Nacional's Giro Horduña got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Mete Culiță successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Chaise Long had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 75thth minute of the game Ximun Zaldos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nacional's Katia Villalobos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aioros FC's Bahiano Neila suffered a sore thigh after 75 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Herena Guion's late challenge caught a Aioros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herena Guion helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Herena Guion hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Ximun Zaldos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Katia Villalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambrosio Gaskon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mete Culiță having to interfere. The Aioros FC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Aioros FC's Chaise Long looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Ambrosio Gaskon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mete Culiță was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute Ambrosio Gaskon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mete Culiță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Whitmore hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Katia Villalobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Whitmore in the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Aioros FC had won after a very even match.
