Sergio Romeri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfredo Vianna in the 10th minute of the match. Robinho Lara hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Otávio Recife fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's protests and gave Otávio Recife a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Otávio Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute Conrado Cambranes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Romeri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Erivaldo Eger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bahía é Carnaval the free kick. The supporters of Bahía é Carnaval booed when Heidemann FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinícius de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's Roger Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Chorche in the 34th minute of play. Uriel Chorche scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Alves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roger Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Miro in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Vinícius de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roger Alves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uriel Chorche went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivo de Mendonça was the one to do the kick off. Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Ceferino Miro scored to the left of an out of position Roger Alves, making the score, 1-3. Roger Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Iban, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Orlando Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roger Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Iban in the 58th minute of the match. Igor Cordara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roger Alves having to make a save. With his leg Roger Alves managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Bahía é Carnaval's Luis Iban fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Iban in the 62nd minute of play forced Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Roger Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Chorche came free, but Roger Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Uriel Chorche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Roger Alves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Iban did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Roger Alves 70 minutes into the match. Roger Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Chorche, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Uriel Chorche scored to the left of an out of position Roger Alves, making the score, 1-6. Uriel Chorche had several of the Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 90 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-7 score and a disappointed Roger Alves as he didn't even see the shot coming. Roger Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Miro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Desiderio Demario scored to the left of an out of position Roger Alves, making the score, 1-8. When the final whistle sounded Bahía é Carnaval left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Heidemann FC - FSCMZ.
