In the 12th minute, Romualdo Hetz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Romualdo Hetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romualdo Hetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Perrando having to interfere. A nice corner shot did that Ronaldão Ceresso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fernando Perrando quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fernando Perrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romualdo Hetz in the 26th minute of play. Romualdo Hetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Romualdo Hetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, C.D. Pepino’s's Maximino Cortazar got a free kick in the 35th minute. Ubaldo Matildo Landoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Veto, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Norino Zuasnabar made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Perrando. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 42 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Romualdo Hetz came free, but Fernando Perrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Cornelio Inge got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After some careless play in the INDEPENDIENTE F.C. defense, Romualdo Hetz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Perrando. The INDEPENDIENTE F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Perrando should have stopped the shot. After the first half C.D. Pepino’s were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cornelio Inge to make the kick off. Maximino Cortazar kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s zone, Romualdo Hetz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Perrando came out of the goal and Romualdo Hetz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Romualdo Hetz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernando Perrando. The goal made the score 0-4. Uriel Sasoin made in the 68th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Iván Kuzmenko immediately put the ball in play. With an all-out effort, C.D. Pepino’s's Fernando Perrando threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Romualdo Hetz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ubaldo Matildo Landoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Inge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of C.D. Pepino’s booed when INDEPENDIENTE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Millrick didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Teodosio Estévez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernando Perrando. That made the score 0-5 in the 81 minute of play. Ubaldo Matildo Landoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Inge in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to INDEPENDIENTE F.C. getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Santiago Veto hit a great ball.
