International Thunders's Thorsten Ternes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Lara in the 13th minute of play. Gerson Berger charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerson Berger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute International Thunders were awarded a corner. Uwe Wehn went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led International Thunders's Uwe Wehn to fire away a dangerous shot which Thomás Travassos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to International Thunders getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Roland Schachner hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Haase in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomás Travassos saved FC Barrera 2.0 from getting behind. FC Barrera 2.0's Thomás Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Schachner in the 29th minute of play. Thomás Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from René Krug, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Alex Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alex Lara was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Haase got free with Thomás Travassos in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Barrera 2.0's Thomás Travassos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barrera 2.0 from getting a goal against them. Thomás Travassos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Haase's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute of the match, Jan Haase got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thomás Travassos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 74 minutes, Alex Lara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Barrera 2.0 and the International Thunders players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute, Alex Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When René Krug came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the International Thunders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that René Krug couldn't finish the play. After 78 minutes of play FC Barrera 2.0's Gerson Berger was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jan Haases short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Thomás Travassos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edu Nóbrega charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edu Nóbrega the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Edu Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. International Thunders made a substitution. Benjamin Eckstein replaced René Krug. Edu Nóbrega hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, International Thunders's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Lara came free, but Thorsten Ternes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Barrera 2.0's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave International Thunders the free kick. Thomás Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Eckstein in the 94th minute of the match.
