The throw-in from Mathias Linard in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Grêmio RK75's Gabriel Moscardó. Tord Waller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Nóbrega in the 5th minute of the match. Tord Waller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leandro Damião hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Mathias Linard in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Grêmio RK75's Gabriel Moscardó. After a rather tough play, Grêmio RK75's Leandro Damião got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18thth minute of the game Gaël Rats who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio RK75's Matias Taffarel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Nóbrega in the 21st minute of play forced Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Tord Waller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tord Waller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Mathias Linard in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Grêmio RK75's Lucas Veríssimo. Tord Waller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Nóbrega's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Gaël Rats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 minutes Grêmio RK75's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabien Kac who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Le Stade Briochin UC's corner Florent Fau fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Matias Taffarel quite easily take care of the ball. Grêmio RK75's Leandro Damião got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Le Stade Briochin UC made a substitution. Radomil Cymbal replaced Gaël Pillot. Igor Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Igor Nóbrega dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tord Waller, 0-1. In the 64th minute, Gaël Rats got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Igor Nóbrega came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Grêmio RK75 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Nóbrega couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Le Stade Briochin UC's Tord Waller got control of the ball when Igor Nóbrega tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gaël Rats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Le Stade Briochin UC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Grêmio RK75's performance. The match ended with a win for Grêmio RK75.
