The audience was convinced that Martín Ibrahimovic's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pastor Eriz was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the game, Jacobo Illan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenio Heriberto charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsenio Heriberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Barrilete Cósmico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Heriberto to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Barrilete Cósmico FC's zone, Aureliano Macerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Nicholas came out of the goal and Aureliano Macerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martín Ibrahimovic kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Hector Criston got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pastor Eriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martín Ibrahimovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barrilete Cósmico FC were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Liberland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martín Ibrahimovic took the corner. In the 31st minute Joaquin Petrigai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Eriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee gave Barrilete Cósmico FC a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Martín Ibrahimovic, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Liberland's Pastor Eriz. 0-2. In the 47th minute Martín Ibrahimovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Eriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Barrilete Cósmico FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernan Nuñez was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Martín Ibrahimovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Eriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Liberland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Rainerio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Liberland getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Victorino Rainerio hit a great ball. Martín Ibrahimovic took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pastor Eriz. Pastor Eriz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Pastor Eriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martín Ibrahimovic, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 94th minute, Joaquin Petrigai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pastor Eriz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Barrilete Cósmico FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
