Felipe Bizen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Ersman in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to SSC Ambrosini getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Kasper Kristiansson hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, C.A.Independiente's David Hotz got a free kick in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Valdemar Åberg made the kick off in the second half. C.A.Independiente's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Joel Forssell scored to the left of an out of position Felipe Bizen, making the score, 1-1. In the 56th minute Humberto Hermon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Ekegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, C.A.Independiente's Felipe Bizen got control of the ball when Valdemar Åberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Humberto Hermon kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, C.A.Independiente's Eugenio Pinto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felipe Bizen came out of the goal and Valdemar Åberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdemar Åberg got free with Felipe Bizen in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olof Ersman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Felipe Bizen came out and tried to block the shot, but Olof Ersman slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Urre came free, but Björn Ekegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Björn Ekegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Björn Ekegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Hermon in the 95th minute of the match. SSC Ambrosini's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
