Granadero10's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vampiros Aztecas the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Granadero10's zone, Rigoberto Raymon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sydney Barros came out of the goal and Rigoberto Raymon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emiliano Oliverios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Vasconcelos in the 74th minute of play. When Epifanio Guillerme fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vampiros Aztecas's protests and gave Epifanio Guillerme a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Granadero10 booed when Vampiros Aztecas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Guillerme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliano Oliverios made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Antônio Motta sent off a good shot on target.
