Björn Ekegren came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Granadero10's Antônio Motta. But to his dismay, Antônio Motta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Vasconcelos during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonel Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Rodolfo de Lara hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Granadero10's goalkeeper Sydney Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SSC Ambrosini's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alf Kullgren in the 21st minute. In the 21st minute, Joel Forssell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes, Granadero10's Francisco Netto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Björn Ekegren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Granadero10 reached it. In the 26th minute, Valdemar Åberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SSC Ambrosini fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 28th minute, Rodolfo de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Bäckström's late challenge caught a Granadero10's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Bäckström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, SSC Ambrosini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Bäckström to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Rodolfo de Lara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Björn Ekegren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ingvar Pihlblad's late challenge caught a Granadero10's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingvar Pihlblad helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Granadero10 booed when SSC Ambrosini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Pihlblad didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Olof Ersman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Granadero10 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antônio Motta made a kick off. Valdemar Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Doni Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdemar Åberg scored 2-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sydney Barros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Granadero10 getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Antônio Motta hit a great ball. The supporters of SSC Ambrosini booed when Granadero10 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute Antônio Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Ekegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Björn Ekegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Motta in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Doni Koehler made a precise shot to the right of Björn Ekegren. SSC Ambrosini's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 81st minute Doni Koehler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Ekegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdemar Åberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sydney Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Granadero10 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
