An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthieu Macquet in the 5th minute of play forced Iron Maiden Football OFF's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC Saubrigues's Mathys Mora got control of the ball when Valdir Terra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zé Paulo Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthieu Macquet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinei Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Alphonse Keita kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Iron Maiden Football OFF's Zé Paulo Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthieu Macquet in the 20th minute of play. Zé Paulo Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphaël Giacometti in the 26th minute of the match. Zé Paulo Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthieu Macquet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Iron Maiden Football OFF's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Sá, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Sébastian Gossard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Paulo Sá. Iron Maiden Football OFF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sébastian Gossard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Iron Maiden Football OFF's Telmo Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Valdir Terra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mathys Mora was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half FC Saubrigues were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdir Terra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matthieu Macquet kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Raphaël Giacometti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Paulo Sá was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 62 minutes into the match, Sébastian Gossard notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Iron Maiden Football OFF's Zé Paulo Sá. Zé Paulo Sá was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Matthieu Macquet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Paulo Sá was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raphaël Giacometti got free with Zé Paulo Sá in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Saubrigues's Sébastian Gossard slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zé Paulo Sá. That made the score 1-5 after 69 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raphaël Giacometti got free with Zé Paulo Sá in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zé Paulo Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthieu Macquet in the 73rd minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Raphaël Giacometti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Zé Paulo Sá was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mathys Mora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Terra in the 81st minute of play. In the 86th minute, Valdir Terra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mathys Mora was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. After some careless play in the FC Saubrigues defense, Telmo Meira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mathys Mora. The FC Saubrigues fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mathys Mora should have stopped the shot. Mathys Mora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Terra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Saubrigues booed when Iron Maiden Football OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinei Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Iron Maiden Football OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Raphaël Giacometti came free, but Zé Paulo Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Saubrigues had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
