Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lauro Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Beila in the 3rd minute of play. When Glauco Paranaense came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the CE LAJEADENSE RS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glauco Paranaense couldn't finish the play. In the 5thth minute of the game Caio Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spams's Dražen Ladić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dražen Ladić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Caio Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dražen Ladić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dražen Ladić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. A collision led to CE LAJEADENSE RS getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Luís Gustavo Teles hit a great ball. Spams were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after CE LAJEADENSE RS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Domingos Beila took the corner. In the 26th minute Luís de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dražen Ladić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Spams booed when CE LAJEADENSE RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Gustavo Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Glauco Paranaense notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Spams's Dražen Ladić. Dražen Ladić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caio Ramos to strike the kick off in the second half. Domingos Beila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Linhares having to interfere. Lauro Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ante Rebić in the 55th minute of play. Lauro Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Telesforo in the 66th minute of the match. When Spams's Ante Rebić in 66 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Lauro Linhares guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Pascual Tonio charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascual Tonio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pascual Tonio hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Caio Ramos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dražen Ladić. That made the score 1-2 in the 76 minute of play. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Lauro Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Telesforo in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Telesforo came free, but Lauro Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Paranaense. The CE LAJEADENSE RS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
