After 9 minutes of play, Maravilla's Delmar Playo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniele Masi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd match minute, Lilywhites was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedele Carulli to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Carulli in the 29th minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Paolo Munio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lilywhites's Felice Ingegno got a free kick in the 30th minute. Delmar Playo scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniele Masi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

With an all-out effort, Maravilla's Daniele Masi threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Delmar Playo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Paolo Munio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Carulli in the 64th minute of play. Maravilla's Delmar Playo got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delmar Playo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Daniele Masi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fedele Carulli might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paolo Munio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fedele Carulli ran back to his position shaking his head. Paolo Munio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Carulli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmar Playo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Daniele Masi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Maravilla walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
