When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Gervasio Faro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Danel Franquis to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 11 minutes, Natalio Polentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yaji FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natalio Polentzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gartxot Estopinal's late challenge caught a Yaji FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gartxot Estopinal helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Socavon FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yaji FC:s goal. The referee gave Yaji FC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Natalio Polentzi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Socavon FC's Danel Franquis. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Socavon FC's zone, Prospero Francesco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danel Franquis came out of the goal and Prospero Francesco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danel Franquis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Natalio Polentzi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. After 29 minutes, Luisito Bedoya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Socavon FC and the Yaji FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Luisito Bedoya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Socavon FC booed when Yaji FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes Socavon FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Guajardo. 32 minutes into the game, Yaji FC's Natalio Polentzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Danel Franquis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 38 played minutes Socavon FC got a freekick which was hit by Garaile Pacio. Socavon FC's Danel Franquis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Polentzi in the 39th minute of play. Natalio Polentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Guajardo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gualterio Rojo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Socavon FC got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Rincon. The tension between the Socavon FC and the Yaji FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Socavon FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gualterio Rojo hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Natalio Polentzi sped through Socavon FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Danel Franquis. When Yaji FC's Natalio Polentzi in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Yaji FC's protests and gave Prospero Francesco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Prospero Francesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danel Franquis came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Yaji FC's Natalio Polentzi. But to his dismay, Natalio Polentzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. After 81 minutes, Gervasio Faro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yaji FC and the Socavon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gavino Bras didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 8-1. Gavino Bras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Rojo in the 87th minute of play. If Gualterio Rojo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Guajardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Gavino Bras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavino Bras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gualterio Rojo's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Yaji FC had won after a very even match.
