Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Almeyra F.C.'s Elias Elorri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Luis Cuciuffo in the 6th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Almeyra F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Semeno. After some careless play in the Almeyra F.C. defense, José Luis Cuciuffo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Elorri. The Almeyra F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Elorri should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Almeyra F.C. getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Arsenio Semeno hit a great ball. After 18 minutes, José Luis Cuciuffo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Almeyra F.C.'s Elias Elorri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 22 minutes of play, Memphis Grizzlies's José Luis Cuciuffo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Elorri was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 25th minute, Ken Blackwater hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the game, José Luis Cuciuffo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Elias Elorri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 32 played minutes Almeyra F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Gizon. Dave Fleming charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dave Fleming the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Memphis Grizzlies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Fleming to maneuver through the defense. Pastor Bela came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gez Winship could save by the left post. Baldomiro Gonzales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gez Winship having to interfere. Ian Webb charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Franky Van Der Elst blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elias Elorri having to make a save. Elias Elorri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franky Van Der Elst in the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play, Memphis Grizzlies's Franky Van Der Elst made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Elorri was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Franky Van Der Elst was the one to do the kick off. Uriel Maurino hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute José Luis Cuciuffo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Elorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute of the match Memphis Grizzlies got a corner. Almeyra F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dave Fleming ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 55th minute Memphis Grizzlies were awarded a corner. Dave Fleming went to the cornerflag to take it. Memphis Grizzlies's Dave Fleming was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elias Elorri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Elias Elorri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franky Van Der Elst in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Memphis Grizzlies booed when Almeyra F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Semeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Elorri made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when José Luis Cuciuffo sent off a good shot on target. Franky Van Der Elst succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. After 63 played minutes Memphis Grizzlies got a freekick which was hit by Michael Kellaway. In the 64th minute, Pastor Bela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Memphis Grizzlies getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Harry Johnson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Bela in the 76th minute of play forced Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Gez Winship to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Memphis Grizzlies's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roman Hernandez was slow to take the kick. During this time Almeyra F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Luis Cuciuffo got free with Elias Elorri in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 84 minutes, José Luis Cuciuffo made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Almeyra F.C.'s Elias Elorri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 86 minutes of play, Memphis Grizzlies's Franky Van Der Elst made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Elorri was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the game, José Luis Cuciuffo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elias Elorri. José Luis Cuciuffo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Memphis Grizzlies walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
