In the 13th match minute, Cachiyuyo EAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Calvino to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Valiant F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Laurin came free, but Barrie Emberson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Valiant F.C booed when Cachiyuyo EAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Quirce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Sebastian Spacey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Alberto Calvino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barrie Emberson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 70th minute of the match Arnoldo Weterio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barrie Emberson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Cecilio Refugio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Simon Pearch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Cecilio Refugio made a huge save. Valiant F.C played a much better game than Cachiyuyo EAS and deserved their victory. The Cachiyuyo EAS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
