Jimmie Ek kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Inge Uggstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Nogueira in the 4th minute of the match. Inge Uggstedt came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Palmares Futebol Clube's Ismael Secco. But to his dismay, Ismael Secco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. João Vítor Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Inge Uggstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisinho Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Michael Hammarström hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute of the match Luisinho Nogueira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inge Uggstedt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Palmares Futebol Clube booed when Bograngen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Hammarström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bograngen's Inge Uggstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Secco in the 23rd minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Bograngen's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Secco came free, but Inge Uggstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Vítor Sena took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inge Uggstedt. Inge Uggstedt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Inge Uggstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, João Vítor Sena put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Inge Uggstedt. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leif Sundström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Inge Uggstedt made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Ismael Secco sent off a good shot on target. After 54 minutes, Jimmie Ek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bograngen and the Palmares Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Palmares Futebol Clube booed when Bograngen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmie Ek didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Vicente Leal from long distance, 59 minutes into the match, got Inge Uggstedt's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ismael Secco took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inge Uggstedt. Inge Uggstedt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 65 minutes into the match, Bograngen's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor Sena came free, but Inge Uggstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inge Uggstedt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Secco went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. 82 minutes into the match, Ismael Secco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inge Uggstedt. Bograngen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Secco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. In the 89th minute, Bograngen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ismael Secco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 90th minute, Vicente Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inge Uggstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Vale in the 92nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Secco got free with Inge Uggstedt in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th minute, João Vítor Sena reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Inge Uggstedt. The goal made the score 0-9. When the final whistle sounded Palmares Futebol Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bograngen.
