In the 19th minute, Rigoberto Urritz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pogoń Szczecin's Kryspin Banan didn't even have to move. In the 20th minute of the match, Flavio Galo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kryspin Banan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 22nd minute of the game, Herbert Cwenar landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Emanuel Cresconio charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Cresconio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pogoń Szczecin made a substitution. Ludomil Naskrent replaced Herbert Cwenar. Pogoń Szczecin's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
