The crowd rose to their feet as Doriva Magalhães kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Basarab Pârcălab. That made the score 3-0 in the 22 minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, João Carlos de Queiroz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Basarab Pârcălab, 4-0. Basarab Pârcălab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Carlos de Queiroz in the 29th minute of the match. André Luiz Pontes struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Basarab Pârcălab didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Power Guido FC. The audience was convinced that Leonard Hâncu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Márcio Terra was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, The Power Guido FC's Paulo José Pernambucano got a free kick in the 44th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Mugurel Panaitescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpathians's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mugurel Panaitescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
