The tension between the FC MeHigh and the Beek City players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC MeHigh getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Codrin Cucerdean hit a great ball. Aristide Strungă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurence Luyten having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Strungă in the 9th minute of play forced Beek City's goalkeeper Laurence Luyten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Valentin Strungă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC MeHigh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Manuel Nicolescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, FC MeHigh's Basarab Bocșan got control of the ball when Gwen Wegers tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Aristide Strungă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Laurence Luyten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Nicolescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute, Beek City's Mitch Van De Wyngaert dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Laurence Luyten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Nicolescu went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Manuel Nicolescu took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurence Luyten. Laurence Luyten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After some careless play in the Beek City defense, Manuel Nicolescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laurence Luyten. The Beek City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laurence Luyten should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Beek City booed when FC MeHigh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristide Strungă didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half FC MeHigh were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gwen Wegers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Basarab Bocșan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwen Wegers in the 55th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gwen Wegers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basarab Bocșan was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After 55 minutes, Gwen Wegers made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. FC MeHigh's Basarab Bocșan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the match, FC MeHigh's goal looked a bit too open when Gwen Wegers came free, but Basarab Bocșan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregory Van Houtvin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC MeHigh made a substitution. Cristian Macaneață replaced George Curteanu. The audience was convinced that Mitch Van De Wyngaert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basarab Bocșan was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mitch Van De Wyngaert in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basarab Bocșan saved FC MeHigh from getting behind. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC MeHigh's goalkeeper Basarab Bocșan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwen Wegers in the 75th minute of play forced FC MeHigh's goalkeeper Basarab Bocșan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Viorel Hrean put in a rough tackle. 77 minutes into the game, one of FC MeHigh:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Beek City. Christian Schollens stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Basarab Bocșan. 3-4. After 83 played minutes Beek City got a freekick which was hit by Sylvain De Worteleere. In the 92nd minute Mitch Van De Wyngaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basarab Bocșan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Beek City's Stephan Neefs seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Stephan Neefs the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Beek City protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Stephan Neefs had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Stephan Neefs hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Beek City's Laurence Luyten got control of the ball when Cristian Macaneață tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC MeHigh's Ivan Brașoveanu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Laurence Luyten in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC MeHigh had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
