Aurelio Di Lullo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephen Hedges in the 7th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Edoardo Cabrini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match Glenn Osmond climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Edoardo Cabrini. In the 12th match minute, Valdieri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Forte to maneuver through the defense. Glenn Osmond succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 14th playminute. 18 minutes into the match, Glenn Osmond dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edoardo Cabrini, 3-0. After 23 played minutes Valdieri got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Forte. When AC Milan's Stephen Hedges in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valdieri's goalie prevented a goal. After 31 minutes, Glenn Osmond made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Valdieri's Edoardo Cabrini tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the game, Noel Barton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valdieri the free kick. Franco Tassotti hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Edoardo Cabrini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glenn Osmond in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Stephen Hedges managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Stephen Hedges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edoardo Cabrini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Sarnelli came free, but Ethan Scriven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glenn Osmond who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Edoardo Cabrini when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot by Dave Gibbons from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got Edoardo Cabrini's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 49 minutes into the match, Glenn Osmond dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edoardo Cabrini, 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Glenn Osmond made a kick off. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Franco Sarnelli hit a great ball. Edoardo Cabrini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephen Hedges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edoardo Cabrini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Glenn Osmond's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After 68 minutes of play Valdieri's Antonio Forte was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Antonio Forte hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Stephen Hedges came free, but Edoardo Cabrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Glenn Osmond in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edoardo Cabrini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alvaro Cannavacciuolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Stephen Hedges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edoardo Cabrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 minutes of play, AC Milan's Stephen Hedges made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edoardo Cabrini was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute, Aurelio Di Lullo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute of the match Dan Jowsey sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edoardo Cabrini skillfully saved the ball.
