The audience was convinced that Guaberto Raymon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafim Tinoco was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gervásio Simões during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruben Roldan in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafim Tinoco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Gremio Viana supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Don Malbec's performance. The match ended with a win for Don Malbec.
