The Borussia Dortmund MZB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. MaLe FC's Arne Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio de Azevedo in the 30th minute of play. MaLe FC's Arne Blomqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save MaLe FC from getting a goal against them. Pedrinho Mandrak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arne Blomqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Cícero Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Blomqvist having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, MaLe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukas Hedlund to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Olof Duset to strike the kick off in the second half. Sverker Fanström helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to MaLe FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Sverker Fanström hit a great ball. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Giuseppe Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafinha de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sverker Fanström in the 80th minute of the match. Arne Blomqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, MaLe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio de Azevedo came free, but Arne Blomqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giuseppe Castro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arne Blomqvist having to make a save. Raí Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cícero Rossi might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arne Blomqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cícero Rossi ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the game, Giuseppe Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Arne Blomqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
