Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maurício Pereira to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Pereira in the 52nd minute of play forced Villa Verde FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurício Pereira scored 2-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Figueiredo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Villa Verde FC's Humberto Velasco got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Alda Maurtio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Betinho Lira during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes Villa Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Lira. Sporting Angola's Miguel Jacinto got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Sporting Angola's Pedro Galão in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villa Verde FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Miguel Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Angola's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Jacinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Figueiredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Jacinto charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Jacinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute, Miguel Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th match minute, Sporting Angola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heitor Firmino to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Sporting Angola's goalkeeper Emirares Felício had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antônio Carlos Madureira. Sporting Angola's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
