The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edgar Vărzaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silviu Şoimu charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silviu Şoimu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to YR☆Bald Eagle™ getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Silviu Şoimu hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, YR☆Bald Eagle™'s Petre Ştefănescu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Christophe Dugas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eliodor Buciu. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. The supporters of YR☆Bald Eagle™ booed when Saint Côme de Fresné was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Bénier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Vărzaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrice Sénéchal having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Silviu Şoimu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Vărzaru in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrice Sénéchal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute YR☆Bald Eagle™ were awarded a corner. Petre Ştefănescu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led YR☆Bald Eagle™'s Petre Ştefănescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Patrice Sénéchal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. YR☆Bald Eagle™ were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Saint Côme de Fresné's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Petre Ştefănescu took the corner. YR☆Bald Eagle™'s Petre Ştefănescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Patrice Sénéchal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Emil Danciu's late challenge caught a Saint Côme de Fresné's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emil Danciu helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes YR☆Bald Eagle™ got a freekick which was hit by Emil Danciu. After 39 played minutes YR☆Bald Eagle™ got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Goșa. Saint Côme de Fresné's Patrice Sénéchal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Mălăele in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henri Quesada to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, YR☆Bald Eagle™'s goal looked a bit too open when Henri Quesada came free, but Eliodor Buciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Henri Quesada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moise Oroian kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Ivan Goșa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Patrice Sénéchal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrice Sénéchal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Mălăele in the 63rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moise Oroian during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute, Moise Oroian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 69 minutes, Côme Durieu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saint Côme de Fresné's supporters crossed their fingers, but Côme Durieu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patrice Sénéchal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silviu Şoimu in the 75th minute. Emil Danciu kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Rareș Tăutu hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute Christophe Dugas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliodor Buciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. YR☆Bald Eagle™'s Eliodor Buciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yazid Debuire in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Saint Côme de Fresné fans cheered their team off the field, for while YR☆Bald Eagle™ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
