GUAYACO's Rey Villazan got control of the ball when Manuel Monteiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Ronny Caicedo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Silvinho de Brito. When C.A. But to his dismay, Ronny Caicedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The audience was convinced that Urko Cabezuela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvinho de Brito was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urko Cabezuela got free with Silvinho de Brito in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Notts County BR booed when C.A. GUAYACO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xicu Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. GUAYACO's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente De La Torre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvinho de Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's Ronny Caicedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvinho de Brito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Urko Cabezuela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 80 minutes, Ronny Caicedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. GUAYACO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronny Caicedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ronny Caicedo came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the C.A. GUAYACO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Caicedo couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Notts County BR's goalkeeper Silvinho de Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronny Caicedo. After some careless play in the Notts County BR defense, Urko Cabezuela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvinho de Brito. The Notts County BR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvinho de Brito should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C.A. GUAYACO eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
