In the 4th minute, Kléber Salles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Airborne FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Válbson Rossi hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Purple Talents's Bart De Koq in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Airborne FC's goalie prevented a goal. 11 minutes into the match, Bart De Koq notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Airborne FC's Diamantino de Queiroz. Diamantino de Queiroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Kléber Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattias Morreels didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kléber Salles went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Purple Talents booed when Airborne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válbson Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thibaud Theuniers took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diamantino de Queiroz. Diamantino de Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The audience was convinced that Bart De Koq's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diamantino de Queiroz was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Airborne FC's Diamantino de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carel Tilemans in the 39th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Airborne FC's Gildo Secco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mattias Morreels. That made the score 3-2 after 41 minutes of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Gildo Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Airborne FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gildo Secco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

55 minutes into the game, Eddy Claes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diamantino de Queiroz. Eddy Claes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. After 59 played minutes Airborne FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Soares. Diamantino de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bart De Koq in the 65th minute of play. When %teams%'s Eddy Claes was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 3-4 just inside the left pole, 72 minutes into the game. Diamantino de Queiroz was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Lieven Omblets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Diamantino de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eddy Claes let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 84th minute shot 3-5 at rihgt post. In the 94th minute, Betão Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Airborne FC's Diamantino de Queiroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Airborne FC from getting a goal against them. The Purple Talents players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
