The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquilino Tipi got free with Mikolaj Piszczor in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gunners ARS's Mikolaj Piszczor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Viviano in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Scofield booed when Gunners ARS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Ziomkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gunners ARS's zone, Emilio Etxatxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikolaj Piszczor came out of the goal and Emilio Etxatxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mikolaj Piszczor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Tipi in the 30th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Aquilino Tipi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquilino Tipi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Etxatxu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Scofield got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Tipi. In the 58th minute, Emilio Etxatxu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scofield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 63rdth minute of the game Emilio Etxatxu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gunners ARS's Mikolaj Piszczor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mikolaj Piszczor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Tipi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes Gunners ARS got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Ziomkowski. In the 67th minute Gerardo Viviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Piszczor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Viviano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Mikolaj Piszczor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mikolaj Piszczor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Tipi, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 81st match minute, Scofield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Hotz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Gunners ARS booed when Scofield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Elorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute Aquilino Tipi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Piszczor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 minutes, Domingos Donio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scofield and the Gunners ARS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domingos Donio hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Scofield had played much better football throughout.
