Ángel Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Guilherme Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ángel Romero in the 5th minute of play. If Dário Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, MAZER SAF's André Luís Vargas got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th match minute, MAZER SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Vianna to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Bernardinho Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Guilherme Mendonça. FC St. Pauli's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 16th minute Ángel Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Dário Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC St. Pauli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dário Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guilherme Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guilherme Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ángel Romero went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, FC St. Pauli's Gil Leal got a free kick in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the match, FC St. Pauli's goal looked a bit too open when Ángel Romero came free, but Guilherme Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Bernardinho Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ángel Romero to strike the kick off in the second half. Guilherme Mendonça made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Ángel Romero sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th match minute, FC St. Pauli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as MAZER SAF's Ángel Romero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guilherme Mendonça. That made the score 0-3 after 61 minutes of play. MAZER SAF made a substitution. João Carlos Fantini replaced Rômulo Amaral. Cafu Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Mendonça having to interfere. Guilherme Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ángel Romero in the 75th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Ángel Romero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guilherme Mendonça. The goal made the score 0-5. With a little luck, FC St. Pauli's Guilherme Mendonça got control of the ball when Bernardinho Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guilherme Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the match was over MAZER SAF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC St. Pauli throughout the match.
