Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) AFK Petržalka's Matej Valentík started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Tudor Cobzar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norberd Valentík was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 8th minute, AFK Petržalka's Roland Záhoran ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vadim Macovei. Vadim Macovei yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Vadim Macovei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Záhoran, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Truseni's Grigore Josan got a free kick in the 15th minute. The referee gave AFK Petržalka a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roland Záhoran, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Truseni's Vadim Macovei. 2-1. Miroslav Cupka kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Cobzar came free, but Norberd Valentík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberd Valentík stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tudor Cobzar's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Roland Záhoran lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Vadim Macovei. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roland Záhoran in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vadim Macovei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tudor Cobzar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Miroslav Cupka. 61 minutes into the game, AFK Petržalka's Roland Záhoran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vadim Macovei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matej Valentík in the 64th minute of play forced FC Truseni's goalkeeper Vadim Macovei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 67 minutes on the clock, Ruslan Cretu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 74 minutes into the game, AFK Petržalka's Roland Záhoran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vadim Macovei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. FC Truseni's Grigore Josan got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AFK Petržalka's Lukáš Gernát was substituted for Matej Valentík. Roland Záhoran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vadim Macovei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Záhoran in the 82nd minute of play. When Roland Záhoran came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the AFK Petržalka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Záhoran couldn't finish the play. Lucian Crivoi's late challenge caught a AFK Petržalka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucian Crivoi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AFK Petržalka's Lukáš Gernát got a free kick in the 89th minute. After having played for 97 minutes, Grigore Ciuche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Truseni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigore Ciuche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Truseni players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AFK Petržalka.
