The supporters of Club Atletico Los Andes booed when Twierdza Osowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Engelborghs didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute Henri Van Deijck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Garaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Arnout Van der Goten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Los Andes's Ermegildo Donzel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waut Vanden Berghe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a little luck, Club Atletico Los Andes's Enrique Garaona got control of the ball when Henri Van Deijck tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Twierdza Osowiec's Arnout Van der Goten got a free kick in the 15th minute. Enrique Garaona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnout Van der Goten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Garaona was a little too slow when Klaus Oelaerts got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 26th minute, Artemio Sengrat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atletico Los Andes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Geordy Maerschalcx scored to the left of an out of position Enrique Garaona, making the score, 2-1. Geordy Maerschalcx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Enrique Garaona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Klaus Oelaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henri Van Deijck to make the kick off. Club Atletico Los Andes were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Twierdza Osowiec's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alvaro Rameriz took the corner. Ariel Lucian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waut Vanden Berghe having to interfere. If Ariel Lucian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waut Vanden Berghe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Quilino, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Paulus De Jonge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Garaona. Club Atletico Los Andes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulus De Jonge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. A collision led to Club Atletico Los Andes getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Hernan Quilino hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Hernan Quilino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Waut Vanden Berghe. The goal made the score 3-3. In the 89th minute Klaus Oelaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Garaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Twierdza Osowiec's Paulus De Jonge got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivan Engelborghs kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Ariel Lucian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
