The Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walmir Dias should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrianinho Furtado in the 33rd minute of play forced Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Naldo Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walmir Dias made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Gernando Gerber sent off a good shot on target. Leopoldo Capixaba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Mello having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Wambalamba FC's zone, Rafa Coutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naldo Mello came out of the goal and Rafa Coutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafa Coutinho was the one to do the kick off. Gernando Gerber hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Walmir de Queiroz charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walmir de Queiroz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Gernando dos Santos shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 59th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Naldo Mello but with some difficulty. A collision led to Wambalamba FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Fabinho Quadros hit a great ball. Naldo Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Gabriel Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75thth minute of the game Gernando Gerber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Walmir Dias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gernando Gerber in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walmir Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Walmir Dias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gernando Gerber's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Wambalamba FC's Naldo Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa Coutinho in the 78th minute of play. When Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Rafa Coutinho in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wambalamba FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rafa Coutinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Naldo Mello made a huge save.
