Filip Mirciulescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 22 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Tano. The supporters of BVB 09 booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Garoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandu Bâru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Jorge Elazar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Filip Mirciulescu. That made the score 1-3 after 65 minutes of play. With a little luck, BVB 09's Filip Mirciulescu got control of the ball when Alejo Ferrando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filip Mirciulescu made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Alejo Ferrando sent off a good shot on target. Gelu Murgu hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match.
