In the 2nd minute, Flavinho Brodel had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The supporters of GLADIADORES booed when AYYILDIZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Okanalp Kutlubay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Ezequiel Pombal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GLADIADORES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a little luck, AYYILDIZ's Koray Savtuna got control of the ball when Flavinho Arantes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Koray Savtuna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AYYILDIZ's Doğaner Aşık suffered a sore thigh after 24 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 24 minutes into the game, Alfredinho Recife was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GLADIADORES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AYYILDIZ the free kick. The supporters of GLADIADORES booed when AYYILDIZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tansu Bağışhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, GLADIADORES's Dudu Godoi got a free kick in the 39th minute. Alfredinho Recife received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Koray Savtuna came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfredinho Recife slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 42nd minute. In the 45th match minute, AYYILDIZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selim Tezeren to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

GLADIADORES's Genílson Queirós was substituted for Ezequiel Pombal. In the 53rd match minute, AYYILDIZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muammer Adalı to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the AYYILDIZ defense, Genílson Queirós kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Koray Savtuna. The AYYILDIZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Koray Savtuna should have stopped the shot. Koray Savtuna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson Queirós in the 57th minute of play. Eurico Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hacı Gayret in the 60th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Alfredinho Recife sped through AYYILDIZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Koray Savtuna. Eurico Arantes was a little too slow when Muammer Adalı got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 5-1.
