After a rather tough play, El Stradivarius's Moises Sauveur got a free kick in the 40th minute. When Bebeto Gonçalves fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São Paulo da Floresta's protests and gave Bebeto Gonçalves a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Bebeto Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camilo Incendio in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Ceni saved São Paulo da Floresta from getting behind. Oséias Valladares's late challenge caught a El Stradivarius's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oséias Valladares helped the player get up and apologised. Oséias Valladares hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Oséias Valladaress short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Melchor Medero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Van Dik made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by El Stradivarius's Ovidio Pepillo. In the 71st minute, Adan Pereyra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dadá de Andrade took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Melchor Medero. El Stradivarius's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Marcos Daunte threw the ball into play from the sideline. São Paulo da Floresta's Bebeto Gonçalves quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonatan Calleri got free with Melchor Medero in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Dadá de Andrade could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Melchor Medero however easily saved by the left post. 86 minutes into the game, São Paulo da Floresta's Jonatan Calleri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melchor Medero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Jonatan Calleri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melchor Medero having to make a save. Melchor Medero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Calleri, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute Dadá de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Medero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The El Stradivarius fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. São Paulo da Floresta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
