Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Dominik Dobilas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 15 minutes into the game, Walery Fleszar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rega Merida CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Legia Warszawa the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Imbor in the 18th minute of play forced Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Dominik Dobilas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Legia Warszawa's Dominik Dobilas got control of the ball when Kazimierz Imbor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zbigniew Kondysar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Rega Merida CF's Zbigniew Kondysar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dominik Dobilas. That made the score 1-1 after 29 minutes of play. Bernard Miarka's late challenge caught a Rega Merida CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernard Miarka helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Legia Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Miarka. Dariusz Sroka kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Legia Warszawa's Dominik Dobilas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walery Fleszar in the 37th minute of play. Walery Fleszar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Dominik Dobilas made a huge save. Dariusz Sroka kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
In the 52nd match minute, Legia Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wasyl Beninda to maneuver through the defense. Dominik Dobilas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Kondysar in the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of Legia Warszawa booed when Rega Merida CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Ciupierdo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Walery Fleszar came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Rega Merida CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walery Fleszar couldn't finish the play. After 71 minutes of play, Rega Merida CF's Kazimierz Imbor made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dominik Dobilas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Walery Fleszar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Dominik Dobilas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Zbigniew Kondysar fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rega Merida CF's protests and gave Zbigniew Kondysar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th match minute, Rega Merida CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbigniew Kondysar to maneuver through the defense. Krzysztof Dobrzechowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute Kazimierz Imbor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Dobilas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Rega Merida CF's Kazimierz Imbor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dominik Dobilas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After a rather tough play, Legia Warszawa's Wasyl Beninda got a free kick in the 88th minute. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rega Merida CF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Legia Warszawa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
