With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elvio Sasoin in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Valente saved Unidad de Matanza from getting behind. When Unidad de Matanza's Isidro Fero in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zuberbühler FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Zuberbühler FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Cipriano Elazar hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Unidad de Matanza's Evelio Pudes got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Apolo Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th match minute, Zuberbühler FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Kemen to maneuver through the defense. Severiano Frasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Fliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elvio Sasoin to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Fero came free, but Severiano Frasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Afonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severiano Frasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 70 played minutes, Unidad de Matanza's Evelio Pudes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Severiano Frasco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Unidad de Matanza reached it. When Juan Cebo fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zuberbühler FC's protests and gave Juan Cebo a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Cebo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Inko in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severiano Frasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severiano Frasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Fliz in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Gerardo Inko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Frasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Denis Silvanito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Afonso hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Severiano Frasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Fero in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Fero in the 86th minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Severiano Frasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
