After a defensive mix-up in Laziali's zone, Aurelio Baladi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Svetlin Traychev came out of the goal and Aurelio Baladi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelio Baladi scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Svetlin Traychev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 9 minutes into the game, Kuncho Pavlikyanov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laziali's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gastres FC the free kick. After 9 played minutes Laziali got a freekick which was hit by Kuncho Pavlikyanov. Svetlin Traychev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Baladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Bertran in the 19th minute of play forced Laziali's goalkeeper Svetlin Traychev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Cornelio Quiroga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Svetlin Traychev, 2-0. Aurelio Baladi in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Svetlin Traychev, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 26 played minutes Laziali got a freekick which was hit by Vergil Belyov. Gastres FC's Lucas Cesaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tzenko Donkovski in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Baladi in the 30th minute of play forced Laziali's goalkeeper Svetlin Traychev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svetlin Traychev stood somewhat misplaced when Aurelio Baladi came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 31 minute. Svetlin Traychev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Bertran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Gastres FC's Svetlin Traychev threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximo Bertran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When Maximo Bertran came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Gastres FC fans jumped to their feet. Svetlin Traychev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 57 minutes into the game, Maximo Bertran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Svetlin Traychev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maximo Bertran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Svetlin Traychev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Baladi in the 62nd minute of play. Lucas Cesaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doncho Tzvetkov went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Svetlin Traychev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Bertran in the 66th minute of the match. Svetlin Traychev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Calvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 80th minute, David Calvino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gastres FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. In the 89th minute, Aurelio Baladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Maximo Bertran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gastres FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. Laziali's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
