The referee ignored Zielonka Gdansk's protests and gave Maciej Zdrojowy a yellow card for diving instead. Maciej Zdrojowy kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Zielonka Gdansk's Maciej Zdrojowy got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ian Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Zielonka Gdansk's goalkeeper Tolek Makarewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerônimo de Salles. In the 44th match minute, Zielonka Gdansk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachariasz Penczkowski to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gildo Nogueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of BRASIL.Sp booed when Zielonka Gdansk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakub Ankiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horácio Ferraz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tolek Makarewicz. Zielonka Gdansk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BRASIL.Sp fans cheered their team off the field, for while Zielonka Gdansk had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
