After some careless play in the Isótopos V.M. defense, Bengt Eklund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luciano Anaya. The Isótopos V.M. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luciano Anaya should have stopped the shot. Craig Hack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Anaya having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Craig Hack had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Octavio Misael fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
