Émeric Germa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Holmberg having to interfere. Maelgwn Le Meur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Bengt Holmberg made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maelgwn Le Meur in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bengt Holmberg saved Polar Ice Caps from getting behind. Bengt Holmberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maelgwn Le Meur's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. En avant de guingamp's Louis Le Comte got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Aymerick Michelet put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bengt Holmberg. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Bengt Holmberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Polar Ice Caps getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Henning Andreasson hit a great ball. En avant de guingamp's Guy Cordeau couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Polar Ice Caps. Bengt Holmberg was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Maelgwn Le Meur capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maelgwn Le Meur really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Bengt Holmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maelgwn Le Meur in the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Aymerick Michelet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bengt Holmberg. Aymerick Michelet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Louis Le Comte kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. If Maelgwn Le Meur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Thor Carlsson made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Polar Ice Caps's goal looked a bit too open when Maelgwn Le Meur came free, but Bengt Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maelgwn Le Meur in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bengt Holmberg saved Polar Ice Caps from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Louis Le Comte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bengt Holmberg was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Bengt Holmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maelgwn Le Meur in the 59th minute of the match. Bengt Holmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aymerick Michelet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the game, En avant de guingamp's Aymerick Michelet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bengt Holmberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Georg Borre kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt Holmberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maelgwn Le Meur took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bengt Holmberg. Bengt Holmberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 84th minute Maelgwn Le Meur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Holmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henning Brodin charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henning Brodin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, Polar Ice Caps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henning Brodin to maneuver through the defense. After 86 played minutes, En avant de guingamp's Jean-Sébastien Manin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bengt Holmberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in En avant de guingamp reached it. In the 88th minute, Renan Charon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The En avant de guingamp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. 92 minutes into the match, Maelgwn Le Meur notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Polar Ice Caps's Bengt Holmberg. Bengt Holmberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Émeric Germa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Holmberg having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Maelgwn Le Meur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The En avant de guingamp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. En avant de guingamp had played much better football throughout.
