Amador Pagomari lost his temper 5 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 5th minute, one of Showtime FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Showtime FC. The referee gave Club Atlético Atlanta a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Donato Nalo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Showtime FC's Leonides Lugo. 1-0. Leonides Lugo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Jaunti in the 11th minute of the match. Anselmo Sarracino kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Melquiades Sanduru took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Salvatore. Melquiades Salvatore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Severino Huly got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Melquiades Sanduru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 minutes, Bonifacio Cresconio made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Showtime FC's Leonides Lugo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Showtime FC's Leonides Lugo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Huly in the 29th minute of play. Leonides Lugo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Cresconio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bonifacio Cresconio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Leonides Lugo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Carolo Naldo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's Donato Nalo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonides Lugo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leonides Lugo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bonifacio Cresconio in the 42nd minute. After 46 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Sarracino. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifacio Cresconio to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Carolo Naldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Showtime FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Cresconio came free, but Leonides Lugo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Lugo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bonifacio Cresconio's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Leonides Lugo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Sarracino in the 67th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Showtime FC got a freekick which was hit by Justo Cerilo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melquiades Sanduru in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Salvatore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 70 minutes, Anselmo Sarracino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the Showtime FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Anselmo Sarracino got a free kick in the 70th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bonifacio Cresconio in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Lugo saved Showtime FC from getting behind. Leonides Lugo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Cresconio, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Leonides Lugo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Jaunti in the 92nd minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
