An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Costa in the 4th minute of play forced ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalkeeper Xorxe Soldado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's zone, Saturnin Alabern stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Gustavo Hermes came out of the goal and Saturnin Alabern tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Esteves in the 12th minute of play forced ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalkeeper Xorxe Soldado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Willian Almeida in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's zone, Luis Molina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Gustavo Hermes came out of the goal and Luis Molina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Hanni Rico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Xorxe Soldado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Baiano in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Mané Aguado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Gustavo Hermes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Mané Aguado put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luís Gustavo Hermes. Xorxe Soldado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Frodo Alabern ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Gustavo Hermes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Frodo Alabern scored to the left of an out of position Luís Gustavo Hermes, making the score, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duarte Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Noel Araújo took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xorxe Soldado. Xorxe Soldado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Mané Aguado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Luís Gustavo Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO made a substitution. Anton Lama replaced Mané Aguado. Xorxe Soldado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duarte Costa in the 71st minute. Saturnin Alabern kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Xorxe Soldado made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Claudinei Pombal sent off a good shot on target. Luís Gustavo Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnin Alabern in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vigil Ruiz to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 85 minutes, Saturnin Alabern managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnin Alabern was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Hamílton Valle hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
