In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gnaget United FC's goalkeeper Osvald Hellström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Åkesson hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Tomas Åkesson kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Howling Dawn U18 booed when Gnaget United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Hernström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvald Hellström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arturo Cordeiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Osvald Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Bittor, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Osvald Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Walme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute of the match, Juan Bittor got a very nice opportunity to score, but Osvald Hellström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 42 minutes into the match, Gnaget United FC's goalkeeper Osvald Hellström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Cruz. With an all-out effort, Howling Dawn U18's Osvald Hellström threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juan Bittor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice moves Arturo Cordeiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 48th minute, which Osvald Hellström however easily saved by the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Bittor to make the kick off. Gnaget United FC's Osvald Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Cruz in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Cordeiro in the 60th minute of play forced Gnaget United FC's goalkeeper Osvald Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Juan Bittor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvald Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvald Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Bittor in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Howling Dawn U18's Baltasar Walme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osvald Hellström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 74 minutes into the match, Gnaget United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Cordeiro came free, but Osvald Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gnaget United FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erasmo Oskarbi was slow to take the kick. During this time Howling Dawn U18's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Erasmo Oskarbi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gnaget United FC's Osvald Hellström did a great save. Osvald Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Juan Bittor came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Howling Dawn U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Bittor couldn't finish the play. Howling Dawn U18's Zeledon Dino was substituted for Juan Bittor. Tobias Stenström's late challenge caught a Howling Dawn U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobias Stenström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th minute, Tobias Stenström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeledon Dino scored 3-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvald Hellström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Howling Dawn U18's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
