Andrzej Debkowski started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Luiz Fabiano Corrêa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jesus Gartxot. The goal made the score 1-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Racing Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! 16 minutes into the game, Urbano Jago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Lauro Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jesus Gartxot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fabiano Corrêa's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 29th minute, Urbano Jago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Racing Club's Urbano Jago in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaru-Uaru's goalie prevented a goal. Lauro Cunha came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Club's Urbano Jago. But to his dismay, Urbano Jago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Edmundo Toscano's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmundo Toscano helped the player get up and apologised. Jeronimo Eutropio kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Adilson Coutinho missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 39 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Jesus Gartxot right hand side. Atilano Millan kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Fabiano Corrêa to make the kick off. Edmundo Toscano hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Jesus Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urbano Jago's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Lauro Cunha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Urbano Jago took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lauro Cunha. Lauro Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 70th minute, Urbano Jago made a precise shot to the right of Lauro Cunha. Jaru-Uaru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Urbano Jago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Lauro Cunha made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Urbano Jago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lauro Cunha came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Club's Urbano Jago. But to his dismay, Urbano Jago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. After having played for 86 minutes, Urbano Jago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Jago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Nerio in the 88th minute of play forced Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Lauro Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Lauro Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urbano Jago. Lauro Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Jago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Jaru-Uaru booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Racing Club walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
