Ter Stegen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damazy Joks's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. The audience was convinced that Damazy Joks's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ter Stegen was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damazy Joks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Joks in the 16th minute of play. If Baoithin Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The 1948 MKS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ter Stegen should have stopped the shot. Damazy Joks blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ter Stegen having to make a save. 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Joks in the 88th minute of play. Damazy Joks might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ter Stegen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damazy Joks ran back to his position shaking his head. Ter Stegen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle sounded KS Olimpia Warszawa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 1948 MKS.
