Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Ter Stegen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gwidon Dubilas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigan Frankson in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, 1948 MKS's Torrey Molloy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gwidon Dubilas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Konstanty Zielinski was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Lech Max's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 26th minute Beagan Colwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Dubilas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gwidon Dubilas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigan Frankson in the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, 1948 MKS's Kaine Kirby got a free kick in the 30th minute. The supporters of Lech Max booed when 1948 MKS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigan Frankson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lech Max's Gwidon Dubilas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torrey Molloy in the 35th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Gacki to make the kick off. If Jan Gacki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Gacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Gwidon Dubilas was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Rigan Frankson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rigan Frankson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as 1948 MKS's Rigan Frankson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gwidon Dubilas. That made the score 1-3 after 83 minutes of play. A collision led to 1948 MKS getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Beagan Colwell hit a great ball. If Otsoko Balmaceda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kapaneus Panayiotopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Beagan Colwell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1948 MKS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lech Max the free kick. Lech Max's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Torrey Molloy scored to the left of an out of position Gwidon Dubilas, making the score, 1-4.
