To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's Norbert Major sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Grzegorz Duszenski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stamatis Seletopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Grzegorz Duszenski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Major, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute.
